About Us
Since 1997, the US Rice Producers Association has worked hard to:
  • Maintain and enhance existing rice markets, both domestic and international.
  • Find and develop new markets for domestic sales and export of rough, brown and milled rice.
  • Represent producers in legislative and governmental affairs in Washington D.C.
  • Educate and inform producers and the general public about rice and rice market information.
  • Expand research activities to develop the rice industry.

USRPA represents all rice producers as well as the following state associations:

  • Mississippi Rice Council, Mississippi Rice Legislative Group
  • Missouri Rice Council, Missouri Rice Legislative Group
  • Texas Rice Council, Texas Rice Legislative Group
  • Rice Producers of California
  • Arkansas Rice Growers Association
  • Louisiana Independent Rice Producers Association
We were incorporated as a non-profit corporation in Texas on December 4, 1997. USRPA maintains IRS tax exempt status as a 501 (c)(6) organization. Our bylaws are adopted by the board of directors. USRPA does not discriminate in its programs on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, or marital/family status.
